Today we had originally planned to ascend Snowmass Mountain. At an altitude of 14,092 ft, it was one of Colorado's 54 14'ers. However, with my heel blister and still having trouble with the altitude, we decided to just relax around the lake. There was a small waterfall about a 1/10 of a mile downstream of the lake that we checked out. Then I went back to camp to relax my heel while Diane hiked over to the far side of the lake near the base of Snowmass Mtn. Other than that, we didn't do much that day but relax and enjoy the local scenery. Below are some photos from around our campsite and the lake.
