Today was another driving day. We checked out of our motel in the morning and once again drove down around the southern end of the Wind River Range and then back up to Pinedale. Then it was another 50 miles north up beyond Cora, WY to the Elk Ridge Lodge near Green River Lake. This was to be our home for the next two nights as we explored this northern area of the Wind Rivers. Since the nearest civilization was 50 miles south, the lodge provided breakfast and suppers. The meals were great, except for the blueberry pancakes on our last morning, there were too few pancakes and they weren't fully cooked. This was our home for two nights, the Elk Ridge Lodge. It's about 50 miles from the nearest civilization. The main lodge is on the right and the two "bunk houses" are on the left.
